If I Were an Animal...

If I was an animal I think that I would be an eagle. All my life I have

always wanted to be able to fly, and be able to soar through the sky and dive and

roll in the air. Then I would dive straight down to the ground and pull up a second

before impact. I would love to feel weightlessness and as if gravity was non-

existence. The eagle is also a very solitary and confined creature that spends most

of its life alone. I think this matches my solitary nature, even though I’m great

with people. Eagles are also very fast in the air. I am a fast runner and like the

eagle, I like to do things by myself. For, example, if I have a job to do, I will do

it by myself, in other words, I like to be independent. Eagles have very good

eyesight and I have twenty/twenty vision. I would very much like to be an eagle, but

I think I prefer myself like I am now.

If Mrs. Chapman was an animal I think that she would be an eel. Now, that

probably sounds like an awful thing to saw but it makes sense if you think about

it. First of all, eels are very, very single-minded, in other words, they

concentrate on one thing and one thing only, so they usually get the job done well

and quickly. It is the same with Mrs. Chapman, whenever she teaches something to us,

she stays at it until we all know the material that she is teaching to us, and like

the eel, she gets it done very fast, and we all learn it well. The eel is also

highly unpredictable, and I think that we can all safely say that Mrs. Chapman is

very unpredictable, whether it is with a water gun or a glass-shattering scream.

Anyway, that's just what I think.

At first I thought, "Gross!" Then, after reading the traits, I agree. I guess I do want up-coming students to see me as a little sinister! :)
